It is a busy and active hub of friendship, warmth and support that makes a huge impact in the lives of countless women and their families.<\/p>\n<p>The Centre holds a number of social events, like movie nights, open houses and potlucks. It has a well-stocked lending library and clothing closet, and offers free childcare to women attending the noon AA meetings. I take a deep breath, and I know that I am safe.<\/p>\n<h5>Support the 7th Tradition<\/h5>\n<h1>Meet your Centre Manager<\/h1>\n<h2>Jennifer Morrow\u200b<\/h2>\n<p>Jennifer is no stranger to recovery. She has been a volunteer and Relief Worker at Avalon before coming on as the Centre Manager in November 2020. Jennifer has been part of the Avalon Community since 2010.\u00a0 Prior to joining Avalon, Jennifer worked with the Ministry of Social Development &amp; Poverty Reduction as a Client Service Worker. She believes that connection and hope are the fundamentals of change.
